Discovery Language Academy Summer Program
Our enriching program is designed for students of the Southcoast community! The Discovery Language Academy Summer Program blends hands-on learning with cultural celebration, offering students a meaningful way to stay active, engaged, and connected in the summer.
Our program features a diverse lineup of workshops and activities, including:
- Portuguese language lessons for building communication skills and cultural connection
- English literacy sessions to strengthen reading and writing
- Home economics, covering cooking, nutrition, budgeting, and household skills
- Culinary workshops exploring traditional and new recipes
- Yoga for movement, mindfulness, and wellness
- Music exploration and instruction
- Field trips to DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) locations for outdoor learning and adventure
And many more workshops throughout the summer!

Today was super special - it was Doctor Vicente's birthday bash! The awesome squad of 🦖, 🦋, and 🦉 totally pulled off a surprise party for her.
